food etiquette or plain craziness?

Today, Fantasy Disco Ford celebrated Administrative Professionals Day (Secretary's Day) a week late by inviting all the Admin. people to lunch. As Kate and I are looking over the menu, we notice that most of the food is either some type of salad or sandwich. (Which makes sense because it is a lunch menu after all.) But, Kate mentioned she didn’t want a sandwich because they are difficult to eat in public. (You can’t exactly use a fork on a sandwich.) And she brings up a very good point, because I actually keep a mental list of things I will not order in a restaurant when I am dining with people other than family and close friends.
The list includes:
Fried Chicken
Corn on the cob
Salad a lot of restaurants leave the lettuce in very large chucks and/or give you cherry tomatoes that are impossible to cut without squirting somebody in the eye with tomato juice.
Sandwiches or wraps that you have to eat with your hands (especially if they have a runny dressing.)
Spaghetti or any similar pasta that is hard to twirl onto the tines of a fork.
I know I’m forgetting some. Anyone else have a list like this, or am I just crazy?

You got spammed.
Anything I have to pick up (excepting pizza), anything messy (BBQ), anything that will require me to look stupid (huge peices of lettuce that must either A. be cut up or B. get shoved into my mouth leaving dressing on my face).
Yeah, see, we are both so crazy.

No, see....you save that stuff for people you don't want to really be with...bad dates, sleazy relatives - you can gross them out to the point where they might leave you alone....personally I like picking up an entire bowl of jello and sucking in the whole thing in one big slurp...tends to really put people off...
