if cleanliness is next to godliness…I’m fucked

About once a year I clean out my desk drawers. Here is a list of the things I found on my most recent cleaning expedition:

1 People Magazine from May 2005

1 Package of Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans

1 Miller Genuine Draft Coozie

1 bag of Raisinettes

1 James Avery Catalog

1 Voucher for 75% off a CD from BMG Music Club (sweet!)

9 CD’s

1 Pulp Fiction DVD

5 Pictures of my parent’s hot tub (don't ask)

2 pairs of scissors (Kate and The Cake Lady might kill me for this offence.)

1 Knife (Seriously - don't ask)

Napkins from every fast food chain in town

Taco Bell Sauce (Mild and Fire)

10 Post-it note pads (none of which are purple)

1 ABC Catalog from Christmas 2004

1 Phone Bill from March 2005 (I remember looking for this.)

All the pens I ‘lost’ over the last year

1 Hands-free for my cell phone

A piece of paper that was very important…about 5 months ago

6 loose pieces of scrap paper with blog ideas wrote on them (they all sucked)

Yep, all that in just under a years time. Now, Kate hasn’t cleaned hers out in like two years. Imagine the treasures that must be hidden there.

(note: is it just me or does that sound dirty?)

My god! LOL! Sounds like my drawer at home, shut-up, I do have more! I opened it last night and told my husband maybe we need to lay off the fast food because it's bulging with take-out silverware sets, (You know the napkin, fork, spoon, knife, salt, pepper)taco bell hot sauce and chinese condiments! You can't even see what else is in there because of all the take-out crap!

Kill you? Oh, it will be way worse than that. We had to share scissors when wrapping presents you skanky ho.
:P

That's it. From now on, ALL notes I give you will be on purple post its!

If this is your grand master plan for making me clean off and in my desk, it will not work.
Fact-o-the-matter is that, if I were to clean everything, I would know where nothin' is. And as scatterbrained as I am anyway, do you really want that?
